Behind every meal on your table, there’s a Great Southern farmer who got up before sunrise to make it happen. The Great Southern Farmer Awards exist to make sure our farmers know we see them, they are valued, and that we’re proud of them.

Whether it’s a young farmer just finding their feet, another breaking new ground by effectively implementing innovative ideas and technology, or a family that’s been working the same land for generations. There are many in our Great Southern community who deserve to be celebrated.

Nominations are open to everyone from farmers, families, local businesses, community groups and anyone who believes our Great Southern farmers deserve their moment in the spotlight.

Heyscape’s off-grid cabin partnership with Raintree Estate in Denmark is a great example of how working with farmers can create meaningful, sustainable experiences that benefit both people and places. Farmers are the backbone of the Great Southern – sustaining our economy, shaping our community and caring for the land. We’re proud to support the Great Southern Farmer Awards in celebrating the people who help tell this important story of the region. There is, perhaps no greater connection to nature than a farmer and the land they care for, which is a relationship with the environment we aim to emulate for our Heyscape guests
